The Journey, described
in short as:
- Negative impacting life event. Death, Divorce, Disease, etc.
- A choice to find out “Why?” and “Who am I, really?” and “What is my Purpose” and often “Why Me?”
- Seeking and getting advice.
- Following some and rebelling some.
- Initial Awakening to who we are and what is. Seeing things clearly, but still lost.
- Wanting to “Make a Deal” with God for an easy and instant trip!
- More suffering.
- Learning and practicing Love & Forgiveness of self and others.
- Taking 100% responsibility for one’s life.
- Dealing with Childhood issues, learning our automatic repeating patterns and working to let them go from being our Commander in Chief.
- Finally Enlightenment, a time of really seeing it all and letting go of the false ego, “me only” way of living. Not usually a "Cosmic Awareness" at the Christ or Buddhic levels, but a full awareness of you, your life and others along with an alive, real, and daily connection with your higher power.
- Living from the Heart, primarily.
- Using our Minds as tools and our thoughts as things to look at not to automatically obey.
- Become “friends” with our Body
- Develop some good Spiritual Habits of connection with our Higher Power on a daily basis.
- Breathing from the belly as an automatic practice.
- Meditation in some form to bring you into the silence to listen to your Heart and the Heart of your God or Higher Power.
- Surrendering your false values to your God or Higher Power in service of your family and others.
- To allow good to come into your life by learning to love yourself, warts and all, completely. Loving yourself as you are is the first Doorway to happiness and growth.
- Applying Spiritual Tools automatically, alike brushing your teeth.
- Accepting that your are on a lifelong Journey led by your Heart and there never is any complete perfection in your expression of life and you accept yourself as someone who makes mistakes and bounces back easily without shame.
