I have written about 150 poems on many subjects.  Eventually I will have a book of about 25 available for sale.

List of Poems:

1. The Awakening    A description of becoming aware of your Authentic Self. (see the prior immediate sub-section for a complete description of "The Awakening" poem before reading it if you wish.

2. Friendship     Remembering friends of long ago who you have lost contact with.

3. Love Found    A realization that there are mysteries and questions you & I will never understand, but we can accept love from our Higher Power and let go of "Trying to figure everything out".

4.  Certain    An expression of what is most important in life.  Friends. Love.

5.  Each Life is a Jewel    Something to read and send to anyone who has lost a loved one to the transition of death.

6.  Far from a Distant Shore    An explanation of the motivation of a "Wounded Healer".  Why some people turn around and help out of a love for mankind.

7.  Forgiveness    This is one of the BIGGEST & HARDEST WORKS to do on this planet Earth.  If you fail to do it, your life will always be ouchy.

8.  Graduation   Is there a "final graduation"?  Or does life keep on challenging us after we thought "we should have arrived"?

9.  If You Could Change    Oh the pain of wanting others to change so we can be   happy.  The futility of trying to control others.  The reason that the Buddha looks down is because he only focuses his attention on changing himself, not you.  Christ said the same thing:" Take the log out of your eye first" (para)

10.  It   Learning we can not "create, force,  or require" the basics of simple yet deep things, e.g.:  Love, sleep, happiness.

11.  Marriage Is    Wow!  If you want to go, try Marriage.  The hardest, most sacred commitment to "letting go of self" and "serving another".

12.  Projections    Another expression of "looking to the outside" for happiness as well as finding someone to blame for your life.  Learn that you are !00% responsible and there are NO ACCIDENTS!  ouch.

13. Push the River .. . . Until You Find Your Soul  A saga of learning to follow another's example of how to be happy!

14. Suffering Enlightenment    Ouch.  Read it an weep.  Give up pilgrimages to "Holy Places".  You are a holy place and wherever you are is Holy.  Hard to believe, yet the only real happiness is to be found "underfoot".  And in YOUR HEART.

15. The True Gift of Life    Another writing to give someone who has lost a love to the next step of life, that is death.  The final graduation to be lived on Earth.

16.  Victim . . .  An Odde to Life   Ouch.  Wailing away at others and not accepting 100% of your life is your responsibility.

17.  Yes     Learning to say "Yes" is a slow and brave adventure.

18.  In Between Reaches and Grabs    Surrender to your Higher Power is not  learned quickly as well.  Some claim they want to have a "100% complete Surrender!".  But in life we have all seen people who immediately claim their total faith in God or their Higher Power right after something like: "getting sober", "being saved", being delivered from a medical emergency back to health", "claiming  to have turned over their whole life to God", "joining a church or other spiritual organization", "Becoming a spiritual teacher or follower of a famous teacher", . . . .none of that works to be a total surrender to your Higher Power, really.  It surely may be a surrender in the beginning or first step, but there is an infinite number of "surrender steps or releases" as long as one is alive and on this planet.  It is like learning  how to play a musical instrument.  A lifetime of getting "better", but never perfect.  Another one of the "Toughest jobs on this planet".  Unless you begin it with a continued intention of further surrender and a knowledge that you have not yet made the "final surrender", you will never be really happy.
